The National Association of Realtors has agreed to pay $52.3 million to settle claims in an antitrust class action brought by homebuyers, part of a strategy to reduce the trade group’s financial exposure and release member realtors from claims in an overlapping case.
Under the deal announced by NAR on Friday, the trade group would pay into a settlement fund over several years.
