Raid Bug Bombs Don’t Work, Proposed Class Suit Alleges

S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. deceptively markets Raid bug foggers that can’t wipe out pests, a new proposed class suit alleges.

Brooklyn resident Robert Crespo said he bought Raid Concentrated Deep Reach Fogger based on S.J. Johnson’s claims that Raid “kills ants, roaches, & spiders,” “penetrates into cracks & crevices to kill bugs where they live & breed,” and “keeps killing for up to 2 months.”

But Raid is ineffective for pest control, Crespo alleged in a suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
