Quest Diagnostics Gets Nationwide Wage Collective Decertified

Quest Diagnostics Inc. and two subsidiaries convinced a New York federal judge to decertify a Fair Labor Standards Act collective of nearly 3,000 mobile medical examiners seeking unpaid wages.

Lead plaintiff Maria Vecchio failed to sufficiently establish any material similarities between her and the examiners who opted into the collective, Judge Edgardo Ramos of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said Sept. 18.
