Prisoner Transportation Services LLC may have taken on the liabilities of U.S. Corrections LLC when it acquired the company, the court said.
Named plaintiff Jeffrey Groover may therefore pursue a proposed class action against PST, the court said, denying the company’s motion to dismiss.
Groover alleges he was transported by U.S. Corrections in a windowless van with insufficient ventilation and air conditioning, causing him to suffer heat stroke.
