Panda Express has tentatively settled with a patron who alleged the restaurant chain imposes hidden delivery costs in addition to the low “delivery charge” represented in its app and on its website, according to filings in a federal court in California.
Natasha Scott sued Panda Restaurant Group Inc. in 2021, alleging the chain attempted to attract consumers in a crowded food delivery marketplace with a promised low-price delivery fee, usually $2.95.
