Obama for America Settles TCPA Suit

Obama for America’s and DNC Services Corp.'s offer to be enjoined from future violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act was approved Oct. 16 by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida (Shamblin v. Obama for Am., 2015 BL 341632, M.D. Fla., 8:13-cv-02428-VMC-TBM, 10/16/15).

Given the court’s previous denial of class certification, however, Judge Virginia M.
