NYU Says Tisch Asia Arts School Students’ Suit Should Be Tossed

New York University urged a federal court to throw out a class suit alleging it deceived students who attended its defunct Tisch Asia program, saying the Singapore-based program provided a high-quality education commensurate with that of its renowned Tisch School of the Arts in New York.

The plaintiffs’ claim that Tisch Asia failed to deliver as advertised is “incontestably false,” NYU said in a filing to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Tisch Asia, a performing-arts based graduate program, opened in 2007 and closed in 2015.
