NFL Sued Over Cancelled Hall of Fame Game

NFL mismanagement forced the last-minute cancellation of this year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Ohio, and ticketholders say the league should pay their expenses, according to a new class complaint (Biland v. Nat’l Football League, N.D. Ohio, 16-cv-02010, filed 8/11/16).

The complaint was filed filed Aug. 11 in the Northern District of Ohio against the National Football League and the National Football Museum Inc.

It alleges thousands of ticketholders incurred out-of-pocket travel and lodging costs to attend the annual event at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
