NFL Fans Sue Over Giants’ and Jets’ Use of New York Name

The National Football League, the New York Jets, and the New York Giants were hit with a proposed class action by football fans alleging the teams’ use of the New York name and brand while actually playing in New Jersey constitutes false advertising, deceptive practices, and racketeering.

Named plaintiff Abdiell Suero seeks to pursue the claims on behalf of all NFL Giants and Jets fans who reside in New York state.
