Consumers allege Poland Spring products don’t meet the legal definition of “spring water” because the multiple sites in Maine where Nestlé obtains its water aren’t natural springs.
The beverage maker filed a summary judgment motion aimed at consumer protection and common law claims under the laws of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island.
