N.C. Homeowners Allege Fly Ash Caused Cracked Siding

Allura USA LLC and other building supply companies were hit with a new class complaint over allegedly defective fiber cement siding made with fly ash.

North Carolina homeowners Martha P. Carbonaro and Jameson D. Storm say the siding on their homes began to crack several years after their homes were built, necessitating costly repair and lowering their property values.

They sued in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina on behalf of North Carolina home and building owners.
