Medical record retrieval company Compex Legal Services was hit with a class action suit alleging it failed to properly secure customers’ personal information.
The complaint alleges Compex failed to implement reasonable security measures to protect customers’ private information, including names, dates of birth, financial and credit card account information, Social Security numbers, and medical information.
Muto seeks to represent a nationwide class and a California subclass of Compex customers whose information was compromised in a data breach discovered by the company on April 17, 2024.
