McKesson Unit RelayHealth Pays $10 Million, Exits Antitrust Case

McKesson Corp. subsidiary RelayHealth exited antitrust litigation over the e-prescription routing market, when a federal judge in Chicago approved the company’s $10 million settlement with the retail pharmacies leading the case.

Judge John J. Tharp Jr. signed off Thursday on the agreement, which resolves proposed class action claims over RelayHealth’s alleged role in a scheme to clear the market for SureScripts LLC through exclusive dealing arrangements and noncompete clauses.
