MasterCard Corp. and Green Dot Corp. won final approval Nov. 22 of a $4.8 million class action settlement to resolve consumer complaints about a prepaid debit card service interruption.
“Settlement affords class members benefits, and for those class members with more significant losses, a claims process has been established,” Judge Fernando M. Olguin wrote for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California (Lewis v. Green Dot Corp., 2017 BL 420655, C.D. Cal., No. 16-3557, 11/22/17).
