LogMeIn Again Fights Off Investors’ GetGo Billing Allegations

LogMeIn Inc. is free once more of a would-be class suit accusing it of misleading investors about a customer billing transition after a federal judge in Massachusetts dismissed the case, this time with prejudice.

The software firm’s investors alleged it misled them about transitioning GetGo Inc. customers to a new billing schedule after LogMeIn acquired the former subsidiary of a competitor. But they failed to cure deficiencies the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts identified in their previous complaint, Judge Allison D. Burroughs’s opinion said.
