Keto K1000 Workout Powder Supplement Lawsuit Partly Advances

Keto K1000 workout supplement maker Livwell Products LLC faces a trimmed proposed class suit alleging it deceptively portrays the powders as containing “nothing artificial.”

Jacob Scheibe sued in the US District Court for the Southern District of California, alleging that the representation is deceptive because the products contain DL malic acid, a synthetic substance derived from petrochemicals.

Scheibe bought claims under California and Maryland consumer protection laws against Maryland company Livwell, which does business as Adapted Nutrition.
