Hydrafacial LLC misled buyers about the capabilities of its Syndeo machine that promised to apply customizable skin care serums for salon and spa patrons, a proposed class action filed Thursday alleged.
“Almost immediately after the purchase, the Syndeo machine began failing,” Sol Tan Tanning & Spa LLC owners Jason and Sonia Davalos alleged. “Due to a design flaw, Syndeo systems using serums routinely clogged up, preventing the customer from being able to use the machine,” the complaint added.
