Home Depot Must Face Narrowed Lawsuit Over Full Refunds Policy

A Home Depot USA customer may proceed with proposed class claims alleging the home improvement retailer acted in bad faith by failing to look for known purchase records in order to deny him full refunds.

Jeremy Collins had a “Pro Xtra Program Account” that allowed members to track two years of purchases and gave him an electronic record of them. According to Collins, each time he bought something at Home Depot, he entered into a customer agreement that included a return policy.
