Helix Energy Solutions Faces Subsea Engineers’ Overtime Claims

Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc. was hit with a proposed collective action in the Southern District of Texas by subsea engineers who allege the company failed to pay them overtime.

Named plaintiffs Steven Paul and Victor Genera allege the company violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by not paying time-and-a-half when they worked more than 40 hours in a workweek, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
