HI.Q Inc. must face a proposed class action alleging it made telemarketing calls offering health insurance to consumers in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a federal court ruled.
Maki Tyner alleged in the lawsuit that HI.Q Inc., which does business as Health IQ, made telemarketing calls to her number on the Do Not Call Registry without her consent, and continued making the calls after she had asked to opt-out of them.
