Florida prisoners want their digital music and books back.
The Florida Department of Corrections has effectively stolen millions of dollars of digital music and books from the prisoners in its custody, according to a class action filed Feb. 19.
The prison system sold digital media files to prisoners for years, then forced them to surrender their digital media players and repurchase their files from a new contractor, the suit alleges.
