FCA, Cummins $6 Million Deal Ending Engine Suit Gets Final Nod

A $6 million deal between FCA US LLC, Cummins Inc., and consumers resolving a lawsuit alleging certain Dodge and Ram trucks with diesel engines were defective got final approval from a federal judge.

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan granted final approval Tuesday. The court certified a settlement class of people who bought or leased a 2013 to 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 truck containing a Cummins Diesel Engine between November 2014 and July 2016.
