The owners of an extermination company in Alabama don’t have to disclose their personal income tax returns in a lawsuit accusing them of using a watered-down pesticide that left a customer’s house damaged by termites, Alabama’s high court ruled Friday.
Edward Wrenn and David Wrenn each own 50% of Wrenn Enterprises Inc., which in turn owns A-1 Exterminating Co. Inc. They were sued by customer Jeffrey E. Wright, who is seeking class status. Wright’s complaint included claims for breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, and wantonness.
