Two New York residents accuse door manufacturers
Allison Dellatore and Craig Weitz asked the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia Dec. 13 to certify a class action on behalf of consumers who had to pay more as a result of this alleged scheme.
The doors in question are interior molded doors, made by sandwiching a wood frame and a core between two molded doorskins. They are the most popular type of interior door in North America, according to the plaintiffs.
