Dog Owners Drop Diamond Pet Foods Suits Following Settlement

Three pet owners have settled with Diamond Pet Foods Inc. and stipulated to the dismissal of their individual claims alleging the pet food maker failed to disclose the presence of heavy metals, pesticides, and other toxins in premium dog food, federal court filings show.

Richard D. Classick Jr. filed a proposed consumer class suit in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in 2018; Constance Jackson and Gwen Kaszynski filed a separate suit in the Northern District of Illinois the following year.
