Delta’s $12 Million Deal to End Class Suit Gets Final Approval

A former Delta Air Lines Inc. employee and the company were granted final approval of a $12 million settlement to resolve class-wide California labor law claims.

Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín granted final approval on Monday to the agreement between Delta and named plaintiff Marvin Toldeo to resolve his class claims under California’s Private Attorneys General Act. The US District Court for the Northern District of California also granted more than $2.3 million in attorneys’ fees and costs to Toldeo’s counsel from Setareh Law Group and also approved a $29,000 incentive award to Toldeo as well as $29,000 to Phoenix Settlement Administrators. ...
