Court Clears $12.5M Settlement Of Securities Suit Against Gaming Concern

The U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada Oct. 19 gave final approval to a $12.5 million settlement of an investor securities fraud action against gaming concern International Game Technology Inc. (IGT) and certain of its officials (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 697 Pension Fund v. International Game Technology Inc.).

Judge Miranda M. Du also awarded plaintiffs’ attorneys’ fees of 25 percent of the settlement amount, attorneys’ costs of $196, 134.16 and costs to lead and named plaintiffs of about $10,000.
