CONFERENCE REPORT: Lawyers Should Look Before They Leap Into Cannabis

Law firms contemplating expanding business in the cannabis arena need to bear in mind the “unbelievable risks” of doing so.

That was the advice of James Grogan, former deputy administrator of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, in a panel on cannabis practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson’s 19th Annual Legal Malpractice & Risk Management Conference on March 5 in Chicago.
