Cision US Inc. must, at least for now, face a nationwide collective action alleging it violated federal labor law by deliberately cheating sales representatives out of overtime pay, a New York federal court said.
Sales representatives in three offices offered enough evidence that the alleged unlawful practices were uniform at the information technology company throughout the country, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said Tuesday. The court conditionally certified a collective action under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
