Christmas Tree Shops is facing a proposed class action alleging it violated New York wage law by paying more than 100 employees on a biweekly basis, rather than weekly.
The lawsuit was brought by Montie Hibbert, who worked as a “Customer Support Receiving employee” at a Christmas Tree Shops in Hartsdale, N.Y.
Hibbert seeks to represent a class of all individuals employed as overtime-eligible customer support receiving, customer checkout, customer experience sales, and overnight replenishment employees who get paid by the hour.
