Chobani misleads consumers about how much sugar is in its Greek yogurts compared to competing brands, according to a potential class action lawsuit filed Thursday in federal court in New York.
Chobani labels and markets its products as containing 45% less sugar than other yogurts, making them enticing to consumers looking to cut back on sugar for health reasons, according to a complaint filed by Donna Brietzke and Damara Alicea in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
