Casino Workers Suing Penn National for Tobacco Penalty Get Class

Casino workers challenging Penn National Gaming Inc.'s decision to charge them an extra $50 per month in health insurance premiums for using tobacco products can litigate as a certified class of 1,500 people, a Missouri federal judge ruled.

Judge Stephen R. Bough of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on Tuesday certified two nationwide classes that each include at least 1,500 people.
