BMW’s Settlement to Resolve Coolant Pump Claims Gets Final Nod

BMW of North America LLC has settled class claims brought by drivers alleging it knew coolant pumps installed across more than a dozen of its vehicle models were defective, according to an unpublished order by the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey that gives the deal final approval.

The settlement class comprises more than 1.8 million individuals who collectively owned, at one point or another, one of the around 657,687 affected vehicles.
