A class complaint accusing Arizona Beverages USA LLC of misleading consumers into thinking certain Arnold Palmer drinks contained zero calories will be dropped, the plaintiff informed a federal court in Illinois.
The Arnold Palmer, named after the famous golfer, is a mix of iced tea and lemonade. AriZona sold a version of the drink that was prominently labeled and advertised as containing zero calories, Kenneth Meyers alleged in his complaint to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in September.
