Amplify Energy Corp. will seek the Department of Transportation’s approval to repair and/or remove part of a pipeline linked to an October oil spill, according to a new filing in a class action lawsuit in California federal court.
Several California businesses and individuals sued after the spill of about 25,000 gallons of oil from a leak in the San Pedro Bay Pipeline. The cases were consolidated in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
