Allstate Overtime Settlement With Adjusters Gets Final Approval

Allstate Insurance Co.'s $7 million agreement to settle overtime allegations on behalf of 1,460 current and former claims adjusters is fair and reasonable, a federal court in California ruled.

Only three class members objected, and those objections are overruled because they only challenged their individual settlement calculations, Judge John A. Kronstadt said Thursday for the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

No class members sought to opt out, the plaintiffs said in asking for approval.
