Wanda Tells Investors It Wired Funds for $400 Million Bond (1)

A key unit of Chinese conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group Co. told some bondholders that it has wired funds to repay a $400 million note that’s effectively due Monday, people familiar with the matter said.

Representatives for Dalian Wanda Commercial Management Group Co. passed on that message to holders who inquired about the status of the payment Monday, according to the people, who asked not to be identified speaking about private matters.
