UK Pensions Need Reason to Invest in Local Stocks, LSE Boss Says

British pension funds need more incentives to hold UK equities, according to the boss of the London Stock Exchange Group Plc.

Tax breaks could act as a useful nudge for funds to once again allocate to UK companies, Chief Executive Officer David Schwimmer said during a panel discussion at the Institute of International Finance conference in Washington DC on Friday. He said he’d prefer that to any mandatory quotas.
