UK Boards Tempted by Foreign Stock Listings, Numis Poll Shows

A large majority of London-listed companies in a recent poll have considered adding a listing overseas or moving their existing one in the last year, with Amsterdam emerging as the most popular alternative.

More than 80% of the 150 executives and directors surveyed by broker Deutsche Numis said they had reviewed their listing structure in the last 12 months, according to the report. Almost two-thirds cited pressure from external stakeholders to do so.

The findings are part of Deutsche Numis’ third annual “Raised in London” report, which suggests that perceived lower valuations are continuing to weigh on the UK’s equity ...
