Tractor Supply Posts Strongest Same-Store Sales Since 2022 (2)

Tractor Supply Co. shares rose after net sales for the third quarter increased 7.2%, boosted by higher comparable-store sales, new store openings, and and the contribution from Allivet, acquired back in December.

Same-store sales surged 3.9%, marking their strongest performance since the fourth quarter of 2022. “But, perhaps more importantly, the ticket size increased by 2.7%, which was the biggest increase in 10 quarters,” D.A. Davidson analyst Michael Baker wrote in a note to clients.
