Thai Airways to Purchase 51 Aircraft by 2027: The Nation

Thai Airways International Pcl plans to purchase 51 planes by 2027 to expand its fleet and replace older aircraft to boost competitiveness, The Nation reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Chai Eamsiri.

The national carrier will receive the first four of 11 Airbus A350-900s this year and 10 Airbus A321neo planes in 2025, according to the report. Thai Airways is still waiting for Airbus SE and Boeing Co. proposals for the remaining 30 wide-body aircraft with deliveries expected between 2026 and 2027, the news outlet reported Saturday.
