Texas voters next week are set to decide on more than $26 billion of bond propositions put forward by issuers in the state, with the public finance market in flux.

The volume of bonds to be weighed during the referendum puts 2023 on track for the second-largest year of debt proposals in Texas history — following a record last year — as municipalities in the Lone Star State seek to borrow to accommodate a population boom.
