SkyBridge Plans to File Again for Spot Bitcoin ETF This Week

Anthony Scaramucci’s SkyBridge Capital is planning to file again for permission to list a spot Bitcoin exchange traded fund on the New York Stock Exchange. The filing could come as soon as this week, according to a person familiar with the plans.

The application comes almost exactly five months after the US Securities and Exchange Commission rejected an earlier effort by Skybridge to list the First Trust SkyBridge Bitcoin ETF Trust. That proposal fell short of standards to prevent fraudulent and manipulative practices and to protect investors, the agency said at the time.
