Morgan Stanley Banker Kyle McDonnell Exits for Jane Street Group

Morgan Stanley lost Kyle McDonnell, a banker on its global capital-markets team, to quantitative-trading firm Jane Street Group, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

McDonnell was most recently an executive director focusing on transactions involving special purpose acquisition companies. Jane Street, with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and Amsterdam, also provides liquidity services.

Representatives for Morgan Stanley and Jane Street declined to comment, as did McDonnell.

McDonnell joined Morgan Stanley in New York in 2009, and started at the bank’s global capital-markets group in 2017, according to his LinkedIn profile.
