Montag and Finucane Aim to Standardize Carbon-Credit Investing

Wall Street veterans Tom Montag and Anne Finucane are looking to improve and expand the market for carbon credits to help investors buy and sell the product.

The former Bank of America Corp. executives established a new firm, Rubicon Carbon, which sets strict standards used to determine the quality of the offsets being used. Those credits will prove to be sound investments as long as they are “understandable to the financial markets,” Finucane said in an interview for Bloomberg Television’s “Wall Street Week.”
