KKR Said to Weigh Sale or IPO for $15 Billion BMC Software (1)

KKR & Co. is again reviewing options to exit IT solutions firm BMC Software Inc., which could be worth about $15 billion including debt in a sale or initial public offering, people familiar with the matter said.

The buyout firm has received inbound interest from other private equity firms interested in potentially acquiring Houston-based BMC, according to the people, who asked not to be identified discussing confidential information.
