JPMorgan US Dealmaker Relocates to India to Handle Share Sales

JPMorgan Chase & Co. recently relocated a senior investment banker to India from New York as the bank builds up its equity capital markets business.

Managing Director Manoj Vemulastarted working from the bank’s Mumbai office in September, reporting to Abhinav Bharti, head of the ECM business in India, Bharti said. Vemula’s been with JPMorgan for more than 15 years, according to the bank.

“We are delighted that Manoj Vemula has joined the India ECM team,” Bharti said. “This demonstrates our confidence in the Indian capital markets as well as our ongoing investment into our business and ECM capabilities.” ...
