JPMorgan Hires Nordic Bankers With Elnegaard to Lead Mid-Cap M&A

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has ramped up its Nordic presence by making seven senior hires in a region that is increasingly attracting the attention of wholesale banks.

Among the new recruits is Casper Elnegaard, who has been hired from Citigroup Inc. to lead mid-cap mergers and acquisitions in the region, according to an internal memo seen by Bloomberg News that confirms an earlier report. Niclas Herstal also joins the team from Nordea Bank Abp.
