Jarden Australia’s Investment Bank Chairman Vanderzeil to Retire

Chairman of investment bank Jarden Australia Pty Robbie Vanderzeil will stand down from his position and plans to retire, according to a memo to staff.

Vanderzeil, who until November was chief executive officer of the New Zealand investment bank Jarden Securities Ltd.’s newly founded Australian operations, “has advised of his intention to retire from Jarden,” co-CEO Sarah Rennie wrote Wednesday in an email to staff obtained by Bloomberg News. A representative for Jarden Australia confirmed the contents of the memo.
