Jain Global Hires JPMorgan Credit Trader Shah to Join Hedge Fund

Jain Global has hired JPMorgan Chase & Co bank-credit trader Vik Shah as portfolio manager, according to people familiar with the matter.

He will be leaving the Wall Street lender in the coming weeks and will start work at Jain — the startup hedge fund founded by former Millennium Management co-chief investment officer Bobby Jain — later this year, the people said.

Representatives at JPMorgan and Jain Global declined to comment. Shah did not respond to a message on LinkedIn seeking comment.

Shah has been co-head of European financials credit trading for almost two years, according to his LinkedIn page. ...
